Effort Versus Results

Compares the effort behind a move (volume) with the result it produced (price action), to show who is in control, buyers or sellers, and how strongly.

Richard Wyckoff’s law of effort versus result says that the price move a market produces (result) should be in harmony with the volume (effort) it took. When a big effort produces a small result, or a small effort produces a big result, the market is telling you something. EVEREX turns that idea into a reading you can easily track on your chart, bar by bar.

EVEREX calculates and plots a Relative Rate of Flow line (RROF). Above zero, the flow favors buyers and bulls are in control of the action; below zero, it is the sellers in control. EVEREX Markers show key volume-price analysis patterns: MegaBar, Ease of Move and Compression.

EVEREX does not track trend or price levels. It works best as a secondary, advanced volume-weighted strength layer - which is how it is used in the Tri-View method.
